Description: A former girls'school in the 17th century, the Restaurant's building is located on a privileged corner in the Plaza de Armas (Armas Square), the city's oldest Square. The building is a typical big colonial house wich gives La Mina Restaurant its charm. It has an atmosphere as typically Cuban as its Cuban tradicional food, its specialty. It has a central courtyard with lots of green plants, an old well exotic birds such as peacocks. It also has welcoming rooms decorated with colorful stained-glass semicircular arches over the doors and a rustic furniture with stools, an attractive marquetry and leather design.
The place offers a variety of services, the Al Cappuccino Café, The House of Wather La Tinaja, Doña Teresa Cafeteria and the ice-cream parlor and Bar&Restaurant La Mina.
